New hobby:crochet

I picked up another hobby in Nov.2014 and it's crochet. I love it. I tried to learn it on my own and almost gave up. I'm glad I didn't. But my sister in law knows how to crochet and she taught me and showed me what I was doing wrong. Now I'm learning how to read patterns and graph. Currently I am working on 2 crochet projects right now. One chevron blanket and a cars graph for my son. For the graph I have been working on it for maybe 2 months and here's the blanket now 

I'm loving the way it turns out and can't wait to show you guys the finishing product.

Firetruck birthday party

Today I will be sharing you my sons 4th birthday party. He all boy. He loves all trucks, automobile , cars , even dump trucks. I decide to go with the firetruck theme . The party decor was all DIY and I'm happy the way it all turns out at the end. I used Create A Critter.

I order the ice cream birthday cake from Moo Bakery . They sell cookies and ice cream. I even personalize it with a firetruck and some flames.

Here are some finger snacks that we ate.

Then I made the chalkboard subway art from my Silhouette Studio software. I love how it came out. This project wasn't a fun but it did take me a while to work on it. Maybe a couple of days?!?!
